Visit to Geological Museum and Tsukuba Science Square

Today as my supervisor is not in, I am free to visit the Geological Museum and Science Square Tsukuba after I finished doing my work. Both are located in AIST (in fact they are just next to one another)

In the Geological Museum, there are, well, a lot of rocks!! Here are some of the pictures from the Geological Museum.

This rock is said to be the oldest rock (around 3.9 billion years) on the Earth based on the description.

Next, I went to Science Square Tsukuba. The Science Square is basically a showroom of “industrial technology” where research and research results of AIST are presented in an easy to understand manner. Below are some of the pictures I took during my visit.
